You are invited! Ingrebretsen's Scandinavian Gifts has asked Lucy Tokheim to do a presentation on the "Primstav", the ancient Norwegian Calendar Stick: Saturday, April 9, 1-3:00 pm. Ingebretsen's is located at 1601 E. Lake Street, Minneapolis.

There has been a lot of interest in the Primstav designs and stories that Lucy has developed for Tokheim Stoneware. She has incised the symbols on bowls, applied them to tiles with wax resist, painted them on canvas, on paper, and brought them into giclee prints. Ingebretsen's features 2 of Tokheim's Primstav vertical prints on their website: www.ingebretsens.com.

Lucy's new Primstav print is available from Tokheim Stoneware. It includes the spring and fall sections of the Primstav calendar. Between them is the spring tree with the dove. Underneath is the Norwegian table prayer "O du som mette liten fugl, velsigne vår mat o Gud." 6" x 6"
